I offer mentoring services for writers looking to take their goals and dreams to the next obtainable level. My mentorship has helped clients receive multiple book deals and/or agent representation. It’s inspiring to see them blossom and thrive in the industry. If you need an compassionate, inspiring mentor to help you grow your potential, I’m here for you.
Sessions Offered:
Conversation regarding the industry: A one-hour ask me any questions you have regarding the industry. This is a one hour call to help you assess your next writerly move and to share insights into an industry that sometimes seems like a maze and a mystery.
Career mapping: Together, we will go over your goals and map out a detailed plan, step by step. No matter where you are on your writerly journey, we will put a plan in place to help you achieve your goals.
Novel Mapping: Have a brilliant idea for a novel, but don’t know how to get started? I have exercises and tools to help you get from concept to finished first draft. We will also find the right pacing and schedule for you to successfully write a first draft.
Picture Book Mapping: Do you have a dream of writing picture books, but don’t know where to begin? I have the exercises, resources, and tools to help you grow your idea into a publishable story.
The Ultimate Mentor: We will set a time to meet weekly or monthly (based on your needs) to go over your goals, personalized career mapping, and to review pages and/or discuss issues your may be having with your manuscript(s). We can also discuss potential agents, editors, and resources needed to open those elusive doors.
Each session will include a phone call or Zoom meeting, and a follow-up email with information, and/or links, suggestions, and further inspiration.
*Book contracts are not guaranteed and neither is agent representation, but the tools needed for perseverance, success, and longevity in the industry are modeled and provided, which usually leads to success for my clients.
